Release date, platforms and price
The game comes out on Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
From what Rockstar Games has announced and shown. Nothing here comes from leaks.
How the date moved
- December 2023: the first trailer announces the game for 2025.
- May 2, 2025: Rockstar moves it to May 26, 2026.
- November 6, 2025: Rockstar moves it again, to November 19, 2026, saying the game needs the time to be finished to the standard players expect.
Platforms
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No version for PC has been announced. Earlier games in the series reached PC a year or more after the consoles, but that is history, not a promise.
