The data

Before launch the map shows the community reconstruction from gtadb.org, made from trailers and screenshots: 3,150 positioned places, 66 known but not placed. Positions are approximate and unknown names stay unknown. The data is CC BY 4.0, credited to gtadb.org and its contributors, and adapted here (filtered, fields renamed, coordinates rounded, categories guessed from real-world counterparts where none was tagged).
